Creating Places
In July 2003 CIDA organised Creating Places, a one-day national conference at the Tate Modern, which promoted CIDA's Tower Hamlets, Hackney and Newham-based artists and workspace clients in the context of nationally profiling the role of artists' workspace providers in regeneration and the BCIC project.
This event was part funded by the European Social Fund through the BCIC project and Arts Council England. The steering group was made up of Acme, Arts Council England, Bow Arts Trust, Bristol City Council, CIDA, LB Lambeth, Space, Wasp's Artist's Studios and Yorkshire ArtSpace. Creating Places was sponsored by Regeneration and Renewal.
