January 2006 – December 2007What is Creative Links?
The Creative Links project consists of innovative support programmes, and CIDA's annual support and showcasing event – Creative Links Expo – which features work by designers, musicians and filmmakers based in east London.
Who does it support?
This project provides support to existing creative SMEs (including freelancers, sole traders and larger SMEs) in Tower Hamlets, Newham and Hackney. This includes enterprises working in any area of the creative industries - including advertising, art, media, fashion, design, film, literature, performance and music.
What support does it offer?
The above aims will be achieved through:
- Development of a referral database/website that includes a comprehensive list of business support providers (relevant to the creative and cultural industries).
- Active promotion of support opportunities through one-to-one brokerage, diagnostic and referral services, and the annual Creative Links expo.
- Provider networking events.
- One-to-one advice & mentoring, and targeted training.
