Creative Routes - East London

Creating an environment in which creative industries can flourish

Creative Routes – East London aimed to develop sustainable creative enterprises in Tower Hamlets, Hackney and Newham, through the provision of one-to-one business support, mentoring, business skills training, marketing support, showcasing opportunities and local market and supply chain development.

This project supported pre-start-up and new start-up creative enterprises including sole traders, freelancers, partnerships, and small businesses in Tower Hamlets, Hackney and Newham.

CIDA's Start-up Adviser worked with pre-start-up and new start-up enterprises to identify their individual career and business development needs. A tailored programme of support was developed for each client incorporating one-to-one sessions, training workshops, and showcasing and networking opportunities.

Creative Routes – East London was part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund, the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, Hackney and Newham, and Prevista. The programme was co-ordinated by CIDA in close cooperation with the above partners.
