This specially designed and targeted project aimed to provide music-based organisations and individuals with bespoke business advice to support project development and prepare funding bids.

The project helped individuals and organisations to:

• Budget and plan project activities
• Locate appropriate and realistic funding streams
• Make links with other organisations or music projects in Hackney
• Prepare funding applications and requests
• Identify appropriate specialist sector support in Hackney and elsewhere
• Access CIDA's specialist funding resources and research databases
