African Asian Partnership for Excellence (APEX) is a non-profit organisation for people who are committed to creating positive opportunities for empowerment and development for Black people.

Established in 1993 by a group of young African and Asian students, who were solution-led and positively wished to help empower African and Asian people and negatively oppose racism in all its forms. Through our experiences over the past eight years, we have been working on developing and increasing the representation of Black people in the media, business and IT industry.

We deliver these educational initiatives by partnering with companies, Government bodies and community organisations. A sample of work include our annual MediaConference which has been supported by various corporations and prominent individuals including the BBC, Granada, DTI, LWT Productions and the Prime Minister.
