Brady Centre The Brady Arts and Community Centre Opened in June 1999. Since that time it has hosted a variety of successful events and extends a welcome to local and regional arts, cultural and community organisations to come and make use of its excellent facilities. The centre is ideally located in Spitalfields, a short distance from Whitechaple and Brick Lane, and is fully equipped with flexible spaces which can accommodate many different uses. The centre is open throughout the week and at weekends. The centre has a number of dedicated spaces for creative arts activities. These include a newly built Arts and Crafts Workshop, a well equipped pottery and ceramics room, video studio and editing facilities and a darkroom. All these spaces are used regularly for in-house activities for children and adults but can also be booked for independent workshops and projects. In addition, the centre's ground floor foyer is an ideal space for small exhibitions. Enquiries are welcomed for individual artists, arts and community organisations, schools and others who would like the opportunity to display their work.
