Wisdom of the Body Moving
Saturday & Sunday 10:30am - 6pm

A series of six weekend workshops, lead by Linder Hartley, focusing on Body Mind centering (Saturdays) and authentic Movement (Sundays). This course offers the opportunity to assimilate explorations over a sustained period within a supportive group.
Cost: £300/£240 conc, for all 6 weekends.

Action Theatre Workshop: the Art of Presence
Monday 15 - Friday19 October, 2001 10:30am - 3:30pm
A five day workshop with San Francisco-based Sten Rudstrom. Action Theatre is body-based improvisation which develops physical and vocal performance skills. Through working solo and with partners this workshop will discover what arises from the body and mind, encouraging new movement relationships and opening participants to the unfamiliar. Curated by Kate Anderson.

Installing Dance: Placing Gesture
Saturday 20 October, 2001 10:30am - 5pm
A day of seminar presentations, live and installation performance and dance for camera, that debates cross disciplinary practice. Presented by Liz Aggiss, featuring talks by Suzanna Hutchinson and Professor John Newling plus work by graduates of the University of Brighton's Dance and visual Art Degree course.

Emma Mongan, two performers day a composer will explore Emma's personal experience of the neurological disorder Guillain Barre syndrome. Drawing upon stories that are tragic, moving and at times even hilarious.
