Poetry in Wood is an exciting arts training project for adults with learning difficulties based in the East end of London.

It is the only one of its kind giving people who have artistic talent the opportunity to express themselves by teaching them skills and providing the support they need in other to capitalise on their creativity.

We teach art and product design through woodwork and other mediums.

Poetry in Wood's portfolio of inspired artwork comprises of commissions from the public and private sectors, including architects and city business.

People with learning difficulties need more choices for work and training.
