Art Plus is the Whitechapel Gallery’s annual fundraising event, which combines the visual arts with another artistic discipline, resulting in a one-night-only creative performance. Themes have include Dance, Music, Drama and Film. There is also an auction and a party with music and DJs.

The Whitechapel Gallery is recruiting for a casual Art Plus Assistant to work with the Development team on the delivery of Art Plus 2012. Duties will include coordinating the auction, ticket sales, budget management, and general administrational support.

• Duration: The successful candidate will be employed on a casual contract for a duration of 7 months.
• Hours: Full-time, 9.30am – 5.45pm (with an hour for lunch).
• £10.34 per hour including annual leave allowance.
