Camden Town Unlimited (CTU) is looking for someone the help them put the Camden Collectives on the entrepreneurial map of London.

Building on the success of the existing Collective Hub in Camden Town, you will use your networks, business experience and interpersonal skills to find, foster and fulfil talented entrepreneurs in their quest for business growth and success. Where Shoreditch is Tech, CTU see Camden as Creative. Help them build the area into the thriving community of future business leaders and creative thinkers it has the potential to be. If you’re prepared to graft for this endeavour, CTU are prepared to be flexible in their support to best achieve their aims. They have a budget for salary or fees of around £30,000 per annum for the next two years. Go and tell them how to spend it!

Together with funding from the Mayor’s office, the Greater London Authority, CTU (a Not-for-Profit social enterprise) is creating a thriving community of future business leaders and creative thinkers in its Start-up incubator Hub known as “Collective”. They’re looking for a starter and a leader to help put the Camden Collectives on the entrepreneurial map of London. The role:

• The Collective Connector will be responsible for growing the brand of Collective through continuous recruitment of new businesses that CTU can help.
• You will use your networks, business experience to find, foster and develop talented entrepreneurs in their quest for business growth and success.
• You will act as a brand manager and a Brand ambassador for Collective.
• You will be responsible for marketing businesses in Collective to institutional and angel investors, and ensuring that start-ups are well prepared and educated before engaging with investors.
• You will also be responsible for the physical space of Collective. It will be your responsibility, to ensure that the resources available are best utilised to make a space conducive to all activities of entrepreneurship.
