Chris and Tibor are looking for a Studio Manager to work for an award winning young Fashion Company based in the Dalston area of London. This is a key role in the business and thus requires a highly experienced professional with excellent people management and communication skills. The ideal candidate will have few years of experience in a studio manager type role. Previous experience of working as a personal assistant would be highly advantageous. Main responsibilities

  • Managing the day to day operations, reporting to directors
  • Opening and closing the studio. Maintain cleanliness, security and safety
  • Assisting two directors in their professional and personal matters
  • Providing first level general support to all members of the team
  • Ensure the smooth movement of workflow through the design, sales and marketing teams with respect to deadlines
  • Oversee and maintain the studio main schedule, calendar management
  • Various copywriting
  • Managing studio budget, assisting to the accountant
  • Database building and management
  • Relations with e-shop and wholesale customer, and the press
  • Control inventory
  • Archiving online and offline contents, administrative filing
  • Managing incoming and outgoing deliveries
  • Plan international itineraries. Excellent skill to resource the best deals to fit in the budget
  • Managing the online store
  • Upload social media content

Essential Skills and Requirements:

  • Experience working with competing deadlines and priorities
  • Excellent written and spoken English language (other European languages or Mandarin is a plus)
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Experience of copywriting within the fashion or related industry
  • Highly organised and exceptional planning capabilities
  • Excellent proven software knowledge of FileMaker, Magento, Excel and Word (Photoshop, Illustrator, html, Sage is a plus)
  • An understanding of the online interactive experience
  • Uses initiative, good general negotiations skills
  • Very open to work extended hours
  • Excellent work and customer care ethos
  • Willingness to go the extra mile
  • Discreet, reliable and social personality
  • Solid previous experience with excellent reference
